Local tips for paddling in Albysjön

• Visit the stream in Nyfors where you with a kayak-cart from the station station roll the kayak holding left up the hill 100 meters to enter lake Flaten, lake långsjön and finally lake Dreviken which is the largest lake in Tyresö for a half-day trip.
• Paddle to Rakstabadet and enjoy an ice-cream in the sun, the kiosk is open from 16:00 Monday to Friday and from 10:00 on weekends. There you can also roll the kayak with a cart you bring from the station down the hill 150 meters to the water below Uddby kvarn. From there you will soon get to Tyresö boat-club, the castle, multiple national parks and the vast Stockholm archipelago for a multi-day trip.
• Make your way by Gimmerstaholmen and land at Fårholmen for a picnic in the free.

• The lake is accessed from the pontoon further up the walkway, to the left of the dressing-rooms. There are carts to help you roll it, the code to the locks are sent in the booking-confirmation.
• Alby friluftsgård has plenty of parking spaces.
• Albybadet has public dressing rooms and bathrooms.
• Public transportation goes to Krusboda torg which is a ten minutes walk. There you also have a supermarket and restaurant.
