Beginners can try both SUP paddling and kayaking conveniently near the shore. Experienced paddlers can take a longer tour on a calm day along the Unterwarnow towards the south (city center). This tour is about 10 km long and takes approximately 4 hours for beginners. Kayaking is also a great alternative to exploring the surroundings by bike or on foot. • Rostock Shipbuilding and Maritime Museum (approx. 20 minutes) – Head north (left)
Practical Information at the KAYAKOMAT Rostock
• Parking available at the entrance of IGA Park (approx. 100 m)
• Paddling to the ferry port and further towards Warnemünde/Baltic Sea is prohibited
• Paddling is only allowed to the right towards Unterwarnow/city center
