Lake Attersee in Schörfling, Upper Austria, is one of Austria's largest inland lakes and offers a stunning backdrop for your water sports adventure. Right by the lake, in front of our Kayakomat in Schörfling, you can rent both SUP boards and kayaks to explore beautiful places like Schloss Kammer and Litzlberg Island. The lake is ideal for paddling, swimming, and discovering. Don’t forget to bring enough sunscreen and drinks. Lake Attersee in Schörfling is the perfect place for stand-up paddling and kayaking.
Start your tour heading south and paddle along the picturesque Schörfling promenade. The promenade stretches for about 1.5 km and leads you to the Seebad Pfahlbaudorf. On your way, you will pass the impressive Schloss Kammer, the Salzkammergut Motor Yacht Club, and the Seebad Schönauer. Before returning to your starting point, you can paddle a bit on the Ager River and land right in front of the Ager Bridge at the Schörfling beach.
Begin your tour at the entrance of the public beach in Schörfling. Paddle southwest towards the idyllic Litzlberg Island. The route to the island is about 3 km and takes you past several outdoor pools and cozy restaurants, perfect for a short break. Litzlberg is a unique highlight on Lake Attersee and should not be missed on any SUP or kayak tour. The total distance for this tour is between 6 and 7 kilometers.
