Experience Lake Constance from a whole new perspective!
🌅 1. Arbon – Frasnacht – Romanshorn (westbound)
Simply paddle westward from the starting point along the promenade.
Wide shoreline, easy navigation, no disturbances.
🏝️ 2. Arbon – Steinach – Rorschach (eastbound)
Take a break at Badi Goldach (the easternmost point of the canton of Thurgau): A very beautiful spot with a stream mouth, a kiosk, and restroom facilities.
☕ 3. To the Rhine Delta and on to Austria
After Rorschach, continue eastward along the shore. Stunning nature along the Old Rhine and in the Rhine Delta. Large nature reserve—as wild as it gets on Lake Constance! A longer tour for experienced paddlers.
🚉 Easy to reach: Bus stops and parking nearby—a relaxed start without long walks.
🚗 On-site: Parking and green spaces available for breaks—perfect for arriving or catching your breath after the tour.
🌊 Right on the water: Launch from the swimming area or the shallow shore—super easy, even for beginners.
⚠️ On the water: Stay close to the shore and keep your distance from boats—especially when there’s heavy traffic.
🌤️ Good to know: It can get choppy when it’s windy, and paddling into the wind can be tiring → it’s worth checking the weather briefly.
