Paddle at a leisurely pace along the open shoreline towards Arbon.
A wide stretch, easy to navigate and plenty of space.

🌿 3. Towards Wiedehorn lido (Seehorn)
A peaceful route along the shore, ending at the Wiedehorn bathing area.

There are quiet spots around Wiedehorn with facilities and a kiosk.
🌄 5. Open water off Egnach (in calm weather)
Paddle a short distance from the shore (stay within sight) for a greater sense of space.
🚉 Easy to get to: Egnach railway station is about a 10-minute walk away, with a bus stop nearby – the last few metres are a leisurely stroll towards the lake.
🚗 Everything you need right there: Car parks right by the bathing area and campsite, plus toilets, showers, a kiosk and barbecue areas.
🌊 Straight into the water: No lugging your kayak around – you’re at the lake straight away. Get in via the shallow shore or the ramp – it’s really relaxed.
⚠️ Stay relaxed and alert: There’s hardly any boat traffic, but be considerate of swimmers and stay close to the shore if it’s windy.
🌤️ Perfect for beginners: A peaceful spot, plenty of space and easy conditions – just a quick weather check and you’re off onto the water.
