Kayaking is a very enjoyable and fun activity, best enjoyed together with friends and family. Beginners can comfortably try both SUP paddling and kayaking while still being close to shore. Paddlers with more experience can on a calm day paddle to many of the close beaches near by. Through KAYAKOMAT self-service rental at Dodds Lake you can easily access kayaks and SUPs any time of the day at your convenience. Experience Dodds Lake from a new perspective!
Local tips for paddling at Dodds Lake
- Activities are endless! Located within the Town of Innisfail on the North end. Explore unique one-of-a-kind shops, a great Farmers Market on Saturday, The Discovery Wildlife Zoo and various restaurants.
- Located on the south side of Dodds Lake there a parking area with limited parking spaces, two docks, and various trails around the lake

- This parking area fills up fast on sunny days and is a first come first serve basis. If the parking area has been closed due to capacity, you may have to park on the street.
