Price listed is for 2 hour minimum rentals on solo and tandem kayaks. GST is included in rates.
Come and explore Carson Pegasus Provincial Park North of Whitecourt Alberta and get close to nature. A paddle on a kayak or SUP on this large lake never disappoints and is perfect for beginners. The lake is speed controlled and boats don’t make waves making this a perfect lake to get out and explore. You will get to see a variety of waterfowl as well as witness an active and vibrant aquatic ecosystem. Keep on the look out for the trout as this is a stocked lake and they can be seen jumping out of the water throughout the day. Early mornings and evenings set the stage with glass-like water conditions for amazing sunsets and rises. This location also offers many other activities for you to enjoy such as camping, beaches, on-site store/food concessions, washrooms, walking paths, a playground, and fishing.
Local Tips for paddling at Carson Pegasus Provincial Park
- Check the Alberta parks website for updates with their facilities.
- Enjoy food and ice cream at the concession stand in the park.
- Prepare to stay the whole day at the park and enjoy beaches, camping.
- Fishing 100’ from the boardwalk is great trout fishing.
- Swimming is allowed.
