The campsites at Unnerud Huse and Stokkebjerg Skov can be reached in 3-4 hours by kayak and are among the most beautifully situated campsites in Denmark – perfect destinations for a weekend with an overnight stay. In the Isefjord, there is ample opportunity to experience both seals and harbor porpoises, and the fjord also abounds with both mackerel, hornfish and sea trout in the spring and summer months so remember the fishing rod.

Kayaking with friends, colleagues, family or on your own in these waters is a wonderful experience and suitable for both beginners and those with some experience in SUP and sea kayaking. More experienced kayakers can paddle longer trips across Isefjord and for example experience Hundested, Kikhavn, Lynæs, Orø or Lammefjorden. • At Rørvig Harbor, there are public toilets and free parking, and the capacity is usually good. Arrive in good time before your booking starts to ensure you find a parking space.
• You'll find the Kayakomat on the south pier, and the kayak or SUP can be put in the water at the floating bridge just a few meters from the Kayakomat.
• If you're rowing north, be aware that you'll need to cross the sailing lane of the Rørvig-Hundested ferry. Orient yourselves thoroughly and always remember to keep to the right (starboard) when crossing another vessel.

• Public transportation: There's a bus stop at Rørvig Harbor where buses to Nykøbing Sjælland depart. From Nykøbing Sjælland, there are buses or trains further to Holbæk and Copenhagen. It's also possible to take the ferry from Rørvig to Hundested and from there the local train to Hillerød and S-train further to Copenhagen.
