Paddle and kayak are very pleasant and fun activities, ideal for a great day alone, as a couple, with friends or family : beginners can easily discover these sports while staying close to the shore.
Thanks to the KAYAKOMAT - Coutras self-service rental station, you can access kayaks and paddles whenever you want, between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m.
Local advices for paddling in Coutras
- The lake is 5 meters from the station, you will have no difficulty launching paddles and kayaks.
- Take the time to tighten the life jackets securely.
- A pontoon or a sandy beach (your choice) allows you to launch in complete safety.
Practical information for reaching the KAYAKOMAT - Coutras station
- You can access Coutras using regional express trains: 35 minutes by train from Bordeaux, 10 minutes from Libourne.
- From the train station or the town center of Coutras, a shuttle (the Coutradette) takes you to Lac des Nauves.
- You can also reach Lac des Nauves in Coutras using Calivelo electric bikes rental.
- For those who reach Coutras by car, Lac des Nauves is signposted and a large free car park allows you to park your vehicle.
- Sanitary facilities are available near the fishing lake, 100 meters from the Kayakomat station.
