🏝️ Inspiration for Your Paddle
Skrubba Holmar - One of the most popular destinations from the kayak station. Reach these beautiful islands in approximately 20–40 minutes and enjoy swimming, sunbathing, or a picnic surrounded by nature.
Swim Like a Local - Drevviken is home to several popular beaches where you can stop for a swim on a warm summer day, including Sköndalsbadet (next to the Kayakomat), Hökarängsbadet, Skrubbabadet, Kumlabadet, and Vendelsögårdsbadet.
🌿 The Hidden Adventure Route - For adventurous paddlers, continue through the winding Gudö River into Lake Långsjön, Lake Flaten, Gammelström, and eventually Tyresta National Park.
This route offers a completely different experience, taking you through narrow waterways, forests, and some of the most beautiful natural areas in southern Stockholm.
⚠️ If you plan to paddle all the way to Tyresta and back, we recommend booking your kayak for at least 10 hours.

🚗 Free parking is available near Kristinahuset and Nice Valley Restaurant.
🚌 Bus 181 stops at Stora Sköndal, just a short walk from the kayak station. Find route in Sl app or sl.se
🚻 Toilets are available during summer near the beaches and for restaurant guests at Nice Valley.

Unlock
On the day of your booking, you will receive a code via email and SMS. Arrive at your KAYAKOMAT and unlock your gear. Inside you’ll find everything you need: PFD, paddles and sprayskirts. If it’s your first time out on the water, make sure you double check our safety tips.
Time to paddle!
Now you’re ready to go! Enjoy your time out on the water, and be sure to tag us @kayakomat on social media. When your rental time is finished, return your equipment, check that everything is clean and lock it back up.
