Rent a SUP or kayak at the boat harbor in Rudkøbing with a view of Siø and the beautiful Langelandsbro. If you are a beginner in kayaking or on SUP, then there are really nice conditions in protected water in the bay and with nice loading opportunities at the sailing club's floating dock. If you are more experienced, you can paddle out of the bay and along Rudkøbing harbor and if the weather and current conditions are good, you may even be able to cross over to Siø or Strynø. Kayaking with friends, family or on your own in these waters is a peaceful experience, suitable for beginners and more experienced SUP and kayakers. A kayak trip in the waters around Rudkøbing Harbor provides plenty of experiences even if you stay close to the city and the coast and is also a wonderful, alternative way to experience Rudkøbing. Renting a kayak or SUP in Rudkøbing Havn is easy, cheap and always available at the unmanned rental facility - KAYAKOMAT.

Local tips for paddling in Langeland
- Take off at the floating dock close to the Kayakomat.
- It's calm inside the bay with shallow water for beginners. If you are more experienced, you may be able to paddle south on and into the other harbor basins of the harbor.
- Be aware of the ferries to Marstal and Strynø, keep distance.
- If the water is calm you can also paddle north and through the Langelandsbroen or maybe cross the sound and paddle around Siø.

- The KAYAKOMAT at Rudkøbing Harbor is located by good parking facilities, which are free. Use winter storage area opposite Rudkøbing Roklub.
