Rent SUP boards and kayaks 24/7 at KAYAKOMAT Silkeborg, an unmanned and flexible rental station located at LY Outdoor Camp in beautiful natural surroundings.
The Silkeborg Lakes are like pearls on a string between Silkeborg and Ry, offering unique nature experiences for both beginners and experienced paddlers.

- Solid and practical transport trolley (100 meters from the rack to the lake)
Please return the trolley to its place before launching your kayak/SUP so the next guest can use it â thank you đ
You may bring your bag/shoes with you in the kayak or on the SUP.

â ïž Please note: Watch out for the tour boats at the launching area. Make sure to look carefully in both directions before setting off.
Please arrive in good time before your booking starts.
đ Local Paddling Tips
- Food can be purchased in central Silkeborg (approx. 1.5 km away) before departure.
- You can paddle to Slusekiosken and the harbour in under 30 minutes.
- If you paddle to the left, you will reach Silkeborg Harbour and the lock.
- If you paddle to the right, you will enter BrassĂž â offering a sea đ of beautiful nature experiences.
There are also great opportunities for overnight stays along the lakes and in the cabins at LY Outdoor Camp in the unique Silkeborg Highlands.

On the day of your booking, you will receive a code via email and SMS. Arrive at your KAYAKOMAT and unlock your gear. Inside youâll find everything you need: PFD, paddles and sprayskirts. If itâs your first time out on the water, make sure you double check our safety tips.
Time to paddle!
Now youâre ready to go! Enjoy your time out on the water, and be sure to tag us @kayakomat on social media. When your rental time is finished, return your equipment, check that everything is clean and lock it back up.
