Glide over the sparkling water, discover hidden bays, and enjoy the tranquility of nature – a kayaking adventure on Lake Scharmützelsee is pure relaxation. Whether you want to paddle leisurely or engage in sports, we have the right kayak for your experience. Modern and easy-to-maneuver kayaks, single and double kayaks for every adventure, instruction for beginners, and tips for the most beautiful routes.
You can store all your personal belongings (phone, wallet, backpack, etc.) in the waterproof compartments of the kayak. In addition to the kayak rental, there is a cart available for you to quickly and easily transport the kayaks to the shore. Start your nature experience with us and discover Lake Scharmützelsee at your own pace!
Additionally, there is a beach volleyball court, a camping area, sitting pavilions, as well as caravan and car parking spaces in the immediate vicinity.
Please note to the parking rules - parking in caravan spaces is not permitted for cars !

On Lake Scharmützelsee, there are beautiful paddling routes that vary depending on experience level and desired duration. Here are some suggestions:
1. Short Beginner Tour (approx. 1–2 hours) Route: Diensdorf-Radlow – Small Bays on the Eastern Shore – back
• Start at the shore of Diensdorf-Radlow
• Paddle leisurely along the eastern shore towards the north
• Enjoy the calm bays and the clear water
• Perfect for a relaxing outing or for beginners
2. Peninsula Circuit Tour (approx. 2–3 hours) Route: Diensdorf-Radlow – Peninsula across – back
• Start in Diensdorf-Radlow and paddle west
• Cross the lake to the peninsula on the western shore
• Enjoy the sheltered bays before heading back
3. Large Scharmützelsee Tour (approx. 4–6 hours) Route: Diensdorf-Radlow – Wendisch Rietz – Bad Saarow – back
• Paddle south to Wendisch Rietz, ideal for a break
• Continue along the western shore to Bad Saarow
• Return along the eastern shore to Diensdorf-Radlow
4. Nature Experience Tour (approx. 3–5 hours) Route: Diensdorf-Radlow – Wendisch Rietz – Groß Schauener Lake Chain – back
• Start in Diensdorf-Radlow and paddle to Wendisch Rietz
• Enter the canal to the Groß Schauener Lake Chain, a paradise for nature lovers
• Observe water birds and enjoy the tranquility of nature
• Return across the Scharmützelsee to Diensdorf-Radlow
