Local Tips for Your Paddle:
- Paddle westward, under the bridge, to reach Sicklasjön. There are nice docks to stop at along the way.
- Paddle eastward for more greenery and nature. Here you'll find hidden coves—perfect for explorers!
- Stop at the docks in Järla, with great sun exposure and the chance to enjoy a coffee break.
- Combine your kayak trip with a visit to Hellasgården to stretch your legs along the hiking trails.

Practical Information – KAYAKOMAT Sickla:
- Bus 821 and 840 stop just 10 meters from the station. Stop: Planiavägen
- Free parking for 3 hours at Sickla Shopping District or at Sicklavallen, about 100 meters away.
- Launch from the dock or the beach – easily accessible for all skill levels.
- Calm waters for paddling, but be aware of other recreational boats.
- Heading west, Sickla Lock (Sickla Sluss) is the furthest point you can paddle before turning back.

On the day of your booking, you will receive a code via email and SMS. Arrive at your KAYAKOMAT and unlock your gear. Inside you’ll find everything you need: PFD, paddles and sprayskirts. If it’s your first time out on the water, make sure you double check our safety tips.
Time to paddle!
Now you’re ready to go! Enjoy your time out on the water, and be sure to tag us @kayakomat on social media. When your rental time is finished, return your equipment, check that everything is clean and lock it back up.
