Tips for paddling on Stora Värtan
Paddle east toward Café Ekudden and enjoy a pleasant fika by the water.
Continue toward Stocksund and the Cedergrenska Tower—a route that combines nature, history, and views.

Explore Näsbyviken and stop at Näsby Castle in a beautiful setting.

Rental Instructions
There are ample parking facilities at Ranängen Boat Club. Park calmly and walk the approximately 100 meters to Svalnäsvägen 31.
In the rear storage compartment of all kayaks, there is a trolley for rolling the kayak down to the water. Assemble the trolley as shown on one of the kayaks in the rack. Place the trolley back in the storage compartment and use it in the same way when returning the kayak. Remember to disassemble it and put it back inside the kayak when the kayak is returned.
There are many nearby options for launching the kayak into the water. The two closest are either from the beach in front of the scout cabin or from the far end of the ladder on the public pier.
