📍 Good to know before you arrive: The station is located right next to the launch point at the port of La Haye-Fouassière (44690)—you can’t miss it!
Rent kayaks on the station of the Sèvre Nantaise: plenty of free parking is available around the station.
Access to the water is very easy, with a gently sloping launch dock—you can plan to go canoeing without getting wet!
Enjoy a scenic river trip through nature, with sunny and shaded spots all along the route. The river is beautiful, and it’s a very pleasant area from which you can paddle all the way to Vertou (±8 km), Château-Thébaud (±10 km), or Le Pallet (±6 km).
Thanks to our self-service Kayakomat station, you can set off whenever you like and discover the river in a whole new way.
Local Tips for Kayaking in La Haye-Fouassière
At the launch point, head left and paddle under the bridge in La Haye-Fouassière for some fun! Then turn around, come back to the station, and continue toward Vertou (it’s the prettier route).
I recommend checking the time you depart and how long you take to gauge your effort.
