Local Tips for Paddling in Salignac-sur-Charente
- Paddling up the Charente for about a hundred meters, you can turn right to head up the Le Né, a small wild stream that forms the geographical boundary between Charente and Charente-Maritime.
- It is recommended to paddle with the current facing you, heading toward Cognac; by following the river’s meanders, you will reach the Couin lock. Please follow the safety guidelines near the lock.
Warning, a speed zone is marked on your left for water skiing, please stay close to the bank in this zone.
