Welcome to the heart of the Gironde Estuary in Charente-Maritime! Located between Royan and Meschers-sur-Gironde, the Saint-Georges-de-Didonne KAYAKOMAT station allows you to rent kayaks, canoes, and stand-up paddleboards on a self-service basis, 7 days a week.
Set off on a waterborne adventure and discover a stunning coastline. From your craft, admire Suzac Beach, cruise along the main beach of Saint-Georges-de-Didonne, or head towards Fort Suzac and the famous Régulus Caves, which offer a unique view of the estuary. Whether you want to paddle leisurely along the coast or enjoy a more energetic workout, there is a route to suit every pace.
Upon your return, extend the relaxation by enjoying the beach, restaurants, and seafront campsites.
Thanks to the self-service KAYAKOMAT station in Saint-Georges-de-Didonne, you can enjoy an activity accessible to everyone—whether with family, friends, or as a couple. Paddles and life jackets are provided; all that’s left is to hop aboard and explore the remarkable landscapes of the Gironde Estuary.

On the day of your booking, you will receive a code via email and SMS. Arrive at your KAYAKOMAT and unlock your gear. Inside you’ll find everything you need: PFD, paddles and sprayskirts. If it’s your first time out on the water, make sure you double check our safety tips.
Time to paddle!
Now you’re ready to go! Enjoy your time out on the water, and be sure to tag us @kayakomat on social media. When your rental time is finished, return your equipment, check that everything is clean and lock it back up.
