Tips for tours in Piteå with approximately four hours of kayak rental:

• Paddle to Fingermanholmen: through the canal (stay to the right) and continue straight ahead after the canal continue paddeling along Lövholmen. Paddle slalom through old ship anchour foundations. Continue along Klubbgärdet towards Furunäset. Cross over to Fingermanholmen and disembark on the beach: barbecue, swim, sauna, and watch the sunset! Book four hours so you have time for a really nice adventure!
• Paddle around Fårön; Stay to the right through Fårösundet. Listen for the birds and paddle gently during nesting season. In Kalkgrundsviken, there is an opportunity to disembark, follow the road a bit for a barbecue area. Around Kalkgrundsudden, on the northern side of Fårön, it can be windy and the water quite shallow. Take on the challenge! Recommendation of four hours to have time to land and have a snack/barbecue.
• Paddle to Bullerviken: After the channel, turn right and paddle past Västra Kajen Camping and further towards Degeränget. In the reeds, there may be shallow areas. At Degeränget, paddle over to Killingholmen (whatch out for passing boats) and continue under the small pedestrian and bicycle bridge. Continue straight ahead through the tunnel towards Bullerviken or go through the tunnel to the right towards Bergsvikssundet. Fantastic tour to catch the sunset. Recommendation of four hours.
• Combine the tour to Fingermanholmen and Bullerviken for a truly beautiful adventure.

Practical information about Piteå:

Parking is available at Fiskaregatan (by the art park), Malmgatan (Norrmalm), or Nolia (below the city library).

Next to Piteå KAYAKOMAT, there is a small kiosk where you can buy snacks.

The kiosk has 2 toilets. Open when the kiosk is open. Freshwater and garbage bins are available at the harbor.
