Local tips for paddling in Malmö

• Start your journey past the houseboats and out to the ocean, here you have the option to go left towards the big bridge and pass the nice beach area with the many piers bath houses along the coast.
• You may also go to the right and paddle north along the boardwalk with its many cafés, restaurants and bathing visitors. Out here in the ocean you will have a full view of the Öresundbridge, Copenhagen and Turning Torso!
• For a city experience; we recommend you to take the first turn to your left and experience the channel and Malmös city center from the water. Note, there are locks and you will need to carry the kayak over the Turbinkanalen and launch on the other side in order to continue in towards the city.

• Parking is available 30 meters from the kayakomat.
• Please observe there are locks in Malmö channel which means that you have to lift the kayak/SUP.
