More experienced paddlers can easily access Långsjön and Tyresö Flaten through Gudöån and enter Tyresta National Park. Local tips for kayaking in Stockholm, Drevviken:

• The many lovely beaches around Drevviken! Such as Hökarängsbadet (closest), Skrubbabadet, Kumlabadet (with a kiosk open in the summer), Vendelsö Gårds bad etc.
• Drevviken is large and if you want to go on a longer trip you can paddle all the way to Gudö Å. It dosen't show on Google Maps, but you can paddle through it and then reach Långsjön. In the end of Långsjön you will find a magical narrow passage over to Flaten and Tyresta National park. Please make sure you booked a full day rental for this, so that you will be back on time.
• Enjoy a nice lunch, ice cream or Swedish “Fika” at Nice Valley Sweet Valley.

Good to know at KAYAKOMAT Sköndal:

• Parking available below and to the left of Kristinahuset & Nice Valley.
• Buss 181 will take you to Stora Sköndal, a short walk from the KAYAKOMAT.
• You find us below and to the left of "Kristinahuset". Use the walking path towards your left, if you have the parking towards your back. You find us by the water at the opening amongst the trees, a little bit before you reach the public beach.
• Toilets are available in summertime by the beaches, as well as at Nice Valley restaurant for guests.
• There is no jetty; you access the lake directly
• Provided life jacket is suitable for people weighing between 35 to 100 kg
