Discover Lake Hjälmaren from a whole new perspective! At KAYAKOMAT Örebro Hjälmarbaden, you can easily rent a kayak and enjoy a relaxing paddling trip with family and friends – or explore the lake on your own.
Hjälmarbaden is located in the southeastern part of Hemfjärden, one of the bays of Lake Hjälmaren. The area has a jetty, changing rooms, toilets and a barbecue area, making it a great place for a relaxing day outdoors and a fun activity close to nature.
It is easy to cycle to Hjälmarbaden from Örebro. The distance is approximately 10 km, and the “Hemfjärden Runt” cycling route passes Norra Ässundets badplats.
You can also take bus 800 or 890 to the Hjälmarbadsvägen bus stop. From there, it is approximately a 1.2 km walk to KAYAKOMAT. Visit the Länstrafiken website for current bus timetables.

On the day of your booking, you will receive a code via email and SMS. Arrive at your KAYAKOMAT and unlock your gear. Inside you’ll find everything you need: PFD, paddles and sprayskirts. If it’s your first time out on the water, make sure you double check our safety tips.
