Renting SUP and kayak in Varberg is a fun activity on the Swedish West Coast. The KAYAKOMAT is placed on the 3rd bay on Getterön just outside Varberg's center and harbour. Enjoy nature and adventure on a kayak trip along the many bays of Getterön. Sea kayaking with friends and family outside Varberg is a peaceful activity that suits those who want to try kayaking as a beginner as it is easy to stay close to shore. More experienced kayakers can paddle north and, for example, paddle into Klosterfjorden and Viskan. Kayaking is a great alternative to experiencing Varberg by bike or walking. Tips for your paddling in Varberg
- Go ashore by the Varberg harbour, the beaches along Getterön and the nature reserve Gubbanäsans.
- Kurhotellet and Apelviken are nice stops when heading South.
- Lunch or ice cream at Hattarviken or restaurant Parasollen, both within reach by kayak.

On the day of your booking, you will receive a code via email and SMS. Arrive at your KAYAKOMAT and unlock your gear. Inside you’ll find everything you need: PFD, paddles and sprayskirts. If it’s your first time out on the water, make sure you double check our safety tips.
TIME TO PADDLE!
Now you’re ready to go! Enjoy your time out on the water, and be sure to tag us @kayakomat on social media. When your rental time is finished, return your equipment, check that everything is clean and lock it back up.
