Rent a kayak in the Stockholm Archipelago. Björnö and Björkviks Havsbad are an excellent starting point for kayaking trips with friends and family. A paddle around Björnö is perfect for beginners, as it is easy to experience a lot while staying close to the shoreline. There are curious seals in the area that often make an appearance for kayakers.
More experienced paddlers can explore the nearby islands, several of which are ideal for an overnight camping trip, with beautiful rocky shores for pitching a tent. Kayaking is a peaceful way to experience the southern parts of the Stockholm Archipelago, and it can easily be combined with a walk and excursion to the Björnö Nature Reserve.
