Kayak and SUP rental at KAYAKOMAT Åhus
Rent SUP and kayak in Åhus, at the eastern coast of the region Skåne. Enjoy a cruise on the calm river Helge å or on the Baltic sea. Kayaking is a very peaceful and fun activity to do, best enjoyed together with friends and family. Beginners can here comfortably try both SUP and kayaking, while still being close to shore. For those of you with more experience you can paddle at sea to Gropahålet and come back on Helge å to Åhus. Be aware! Open sea all the way to Gropahålet! Kayaking is a great way to explore the picturesque village of Åhus and you may see areas that are difficult to reach by bike or hiking. Through KAYAKOMAT self-service rental in Åhus you can easily access kayaks and SUPs any time of the day at your convenience.Local tips for paddling in Åhus
- Paddle through Åhus and continue along river Helge å. You will find exciting environments along the river and a place for a break at 7 km. For this you will need 3-4 h.
- For experienced kayakers you can follow the coast to the south to Gropahålet. There you can enter the river Helge å and return to Åhus by the river. A wonderful trip. Allow for minimum 6 h paddling. Do not try in strong winds or wind direction from SO.

- While paddling at sea you are not allowed to paddle close to Äspet bird sanctuary, see map.

TIME TO PADDLE!
Now you’re ready to go! Enjoy your time out on the water, and be sure to tag us @kayakomat on social media. When your rental time is finished, return your equipment, check that everything is clean and lock it back up.
