Local tips for paddling in Umeälven
- Keep in mind that the water flow in the river can vary. If you are a beginner, we recommend our KAYAKOMAT at Nydalabadet.
- Start paddling upstream if you feel unsure, then the journey home will be easier.
- It is not possible to pass under bridge construction up in Baggböle.
- There is a beach and a café in the Bölesholmarna.
- On the island you can find the cosy Eljest café.

- Bus 1 towards Umedalen stops at Ängesvägen, about 500m walk from Kvarnlunden.
- Car parking is available at Kvarnvägen or at the beginning of Kvarnlunden.

On the day of your booking, you will receive a code via email and SMS. Arrive at your KAYAKOMAT and unlock your gear. Inside you’ll find everything you need: PFD, paddles and sprayskirts. If it’s your first time out on the water, make sure you double check our safety tips.
