Warmly welcome to rent kayaks and SUPs in the middle of Ängelholm! The tour is suitable for beginners who want to try kayaking because it is easy to experience a lot and at the same time stay close to the riverbank. More experienced kayakers can go out towards Skälderviken and the sea. It is smooth, cheap and accessible thanks to the unmanned concept.
Time required and tips for your kayaking in Rönne Å
- The most common kayaking tour is 2-3 hours and is experienced as just right for a beginner. You then have time to paddle to Skälderviken, take a break and then get back in good time. Keep in mind that it is downstream in one direction and upstream in the other, and therefore it takes different lengths of time to paddle the same distance.
- Paddle north (right towards the bridge at Vattnets Hus when launching from the jetty) to take you past Pyttebron, Hembygdsparken and further out towards Skälderviken and the sea.
- Paddle south (left towards Carl XV's bridge when launching from the jetty) to take you through the city, inland and eventually towards the country and Höja.
Practical information, minimum booking and price
- The station is located 10 minutes' walk from Ängelholm station and there are parking lots along the street or a larger municipal lot a couple of hundred meters north.
- The station has 3 tandem kayaks, 4 single kayaks and 2 SUPs.
- Launching is easy from the adjacent jetty where there are also benches, tables and a coffee area.
- No guarded storage, however the kayaks have rubber covers so you can bring your luggage without it getting wet.
- The minimum booking is 2 hours for kayaking and 1 hour for SUP. Please note that you cannot add time continuously without booking the correct time from the beginning.
- The hourly price starts at 164 SEK/hour for a SUP, 328 SEK for 2 hours for a single kayak and 438 SEK for 2 hours for a tandem kayak. If you book more hours, the hourly price will gradually decrease.
