If you are a beginner in kayaking or at SUP, then there are really nice conditions in protected water in the inner part of Nyborg Harbor. If you are more experienced, you may paddle out of the harbor and along the coast to the south to Lundeborg or north, past Slipshavn, under the Great Belt Bridge and perhaps all the way to Kerteminde. Kayaking with friends, family or on your own in these waters is a beautiful experience, suitable for beginners and more experienced SUP and kayakers. A kayak trip in the waters around Nyborg Harbor provides lots of experiences even if you stay close to the city and the coast and is also a wonderful, alternative way to experience Nyborg. Renting a kayak or SUP on Heimdals Plads in Nyborg is easy, cheap and always available at the unmanned rental property - KAYAKOMAT.
Local tips:
- Insert the kayak or SUP at the floating bridge outside Heimdals Plads.
- Calm inside the harbor and experience Nyborg from the water side and all the exciting nooks and crannies of the harbor.
- If the water is calm you can row to Slipshavn Lighthouse or to Holckenhavn Castle.
Practical information:
- The KAYAKOMAT at Heimdalsplads is located by a lot of centrally located parking lots, which are free.
- We refer to Lauses Grill and Fast Food and Café Apostrof where you can stock up for the trip.
