With our unmanned KAYAKOMAT concept, kayaking is always easy, affordable, and available – whenever it suits you!

Tips for your paddling trip
- Bring a water bottle and sunscreen – especially on warm days
- Dress for the weather – activewear or quick-dry materials are best
- Always wear a life jacket – it's included in the rental
- Beginners: Stay within the bay for a calm and safe experience
- Experienced paddlers: Head toward Hustegafjärden or Askrikefjärden
- Respect nature – and enjoy the peaceful surroundings
How to get here
By public transport from Stockholm:
- Take the red metro line to Ropsten
- Transfer to bus 204, 205, 211, 212 or 238
- Get off at stop Kvarnen – about a 5-minute walk to the station
By car:
- Drive across Lidingö Bridge and follow signs to Lidingö centrum
- Turn onto Lejonvägen, then right onto Kyrkvägen
- Free parking is available at Vallens IP or near Lidingö Church

Unlock
On the day of your booking, you will receive a code via email and SMS. Arrive at your KAYAKOMAT and unlock your gear. Inside you’ll find everything you need: PFD, paddles and sprayskirts. If it’s your first time out on the water, make sure you double check our safety tips.
Time to paddle!
Now you’re ready to go! Enjoy your time out on the water, and be sure to tag us @kayakomat on social media. When your rental time is finished, return your equipment, check that everything is clean and lock it back up.
