Kayaking is a great alternative to exploring the area by bike or on foot. Experience the Schlei region from the water and enjoy the fantastic view of the city of Schleswig and the Reesholm nature reserve.
Our kayaks are sturdy and, thanks to their stable position in the water, suitable even for beginners. Life jackets for children (from a body weight of 30 kg) are available. Your dog is also welcome to join you on tandem boats.
At the station, you’ll find a small selection of recommended routes. Please plan at least 2 hours for a short trip. To conserve energy, we recommend starting your tour against the wind.

On the day of your booking, you will receive a code via email and SMS. Arrive at your KAYAKOMAT and unlock your gear. Inside you’ll find everything you need: PFD, paddles and sprayskirts. If it’s your first time out on the water, make sure you double check our safety tips.
Time to paddle!
Now you’re ready to go! Enjoy your time out on the water, and be sure to tag us @kayakomat on social media. When your rental time is finished, return your equipment, check that everything is clean and lock it back up.
